Position Overview
Blockdaemon is searching for a Director of Strategic Partnerships based in New York City to join our Team. This is a multi-faceted role where you will be responsible for building our global partnerships, working closely with key strategy, product, sales, and other leaders to drive growth. You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of our most strategic partnerships that help Blockdaemon take our proposition to market and support its growth.
Your Impact
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate the top 20 strategic partnerships that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Develop and execute partnership strategies to enhance the company's market position and drive growth.
Partnership Strategy: Build a partnership strategy and operating framework with clarity and measurable goals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including technology firms, financial institutions, developers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Ensure ongoing engagement and collaboration to maximize the value of each partnership.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations and manage the contractual aspects of partnership agreements. Ensure mutually beneficial terms and conditions that support the company's strategic goals.
Ecosystem Expansion: Work closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate partner solutions and expand the company’s ecosystem. Identify opportunities for joint ventures, co-development, and co-marketing initiatives.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential partners and assess the competitive landscape. Analyze trends and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategies and identify new opportunities.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings.
Role Requirements
10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with 3+ years of experience in Web3
Experience in closing large partnerships - ideally across industries - for example, Finance/FSI to Digital Native or Crypto Native
Ability to communicate with clarity in noisy environments and drive partnership nomenclature successfully into and across business organizations

US Salary Range: $200,000 - 240,000
