This role will play a critical role in overseeing portfolio operations and fund accounting. Cryptocurrencies can be complex and the industry is rapidly evolving. You’ll need to have a strategic mindset when it comes to the ways crypto is changing financial reporting (i.e. staking, airdrops, DAOs, blockers, etc.). You’ll work closely with our Director of Finance, CFO, the investment/trading team, legal team, and third-party vendors.

    • review vesting schedules for locked tokens and track staking rewards and yield
  • Valuation:
    • review purchase agreements, SAFTs, TPAs, and SAFEs for valuation and reporting
    • provide input on portfolio valuation for presentation to the valuation committee
  • General fund accounting oversight and audit support:
    • drive the monthly financial reporting and quarter-end closing for various investment entities
    • ensure financial reporting is in compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
    • assist with the financial statement audits and work closely with the fund auditors
    • proactively identify control gaps and build processes and controls around them including input on policies
    • partner cross-functionally on major new projects/fund vehicles/initiatives for smooth launches including review and recommendation of new vendors
    • manage data to produce ad hoc reports for investors and other stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA preferred but not required.
  • You’re incredibly organized and detail oriented. Due to the ever-changing landscape of the crypto industry, you’re familiar with the need to double/triple check token reconciliations and the various types of wallets/exchanges/custodial accounts that you’ll be gathering information from.
