About The Role
The OnChain Engineering Org is looking for highly skilled software engineers to help drive the realization of our industry leading platform. As a member, you will deliver high scale platform services that help power the Cryptoys ecosystem. We work on a range of critical services including Blockchain implementations, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Unity game development, as well as API and Account authentication services.
What You’ll Be Doing
Building large scale services to enrich the Cryptoys experience across millions of devices.
Delivering both platform and product features, from ideation to production deployment and support.
Driving best practices across the entire development life cycle, including code and design reviews.
Leading efforts to evaluate new technologies and continue to push for best practices.
Work alongside experienced engineers and team leads to develop new features and enhancements
Participate in requirement gathering, sprint planning and design sessions
Build and execute unit test suites
Collaborate with scrum team members during daily standup
Actively engage in sprint reviews and retrospectives
Utilize open source technologies such as RabbitMQ, Docker, relational and document based databases, to build cloud based products
Employ Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools for optimal productivity
Monitor for, evaluate, resolve, and make decisions and recommendations to remediate application production issues
Perform the investigation and resolution of complex and critical data, system, and software issues in the production environment
Work with Product Managers and Scrum Master to estimate, design, and build efficient, long term business applications utilizing standards
Break down tasks, estimate detailed effort to complete, and execute on-time
Appropriately identify and raise blockers, issues, and risks to Scrum Master and team members.
Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Adhere to security, compliance and best-practices guidelines
We’re excited if you have
7+ years experience building large scale distributed systems.
5+ years working with cloud based platforms and infrastructure.
Development expertise in languages such as Go, Dart, or Python.
Deep experience building microservices using container platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Solid understanding and experience with relational, document, and/or graph based database systems.
Hands on experience with Cloud providers such as AWS and GPC
Experience with a breadth of protocols and data formats such as REST, WebSockets, and Protobuf.
Experience with CI/CD based development models and tools
Demonstrated ability to drive timely consensus in design with other senior team members.
