We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to lead and support our growing community.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at DFINITY, you will:

• Lead the development of user-facing applications, such as control panels for network governance or status dashboards
• Create prototype applications that showcase the unique concepts and capabilities of the Internet Computer
• Collaborate with designers to develop scalable design systems and pattern libraries that support a consistent user experience
• Ensure security, performance, and accessibility are built into the core of everything you develop
• Guide the team on browser support, integration testing, and performance optimization

Background and Skills

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Deep expertise with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
• A strong track record of collaborating with designers to build sophisticated design systems
• A proactive approach to considering security, accessibility, and performance from the start of each project
• Proven experience developing responsive, high-performance apps for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms
• The ability to mentor and elevate the team through honest feedback, best practices, and workflow improvements
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams in different locations and time zones
• 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a history of shipping high-quality products
• Expert knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
