About the Role:
In this role you will lead the onboarding of developers and projects onto SEDA — a multichain, permissionless protocol connecting real-world data to any network on-chain. This full-time position is fully remote or ideally located in either Amsterdam or Berlin.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Be the lead technical partner and point-of-contact for teams using SEDA Network. This includes validators, data providers, and protocols across the crypto ecosystem.
- Enable developers to build successfully on our technology with clear, concise documentation, code examples, developer guides, and technical support throughout the integration journey.
- Lead developer engagement and communications, including regular updates to our community, network upgrades and status, supported data feeds, and blockchain ecosystems. This will also include presenting at virtual and in-person hackathons and conferences.
- Turn developer feedback into clear technical requirements, and work with the engineering team to improve our products accordingly.
To do this work effectively, you will need to:
- Accurately assess partners’ technical needs in detail and concisely propose and explain potential technical solutions, including designs and trade-off considerations.
- Provide proof-of-concept and reference implementations for potential integrations with SEDA.
- Constantly learn new concepts, ideas, and frameworks as you work across many different projects and technologies, allowing them to guide your future reference implementations and trade-offs.
- Build strong relationships with technical leaders and engineers from projects across the broader crypto ecosystem.
- Travel to major industry hackathons and conferences several times a year.
About You:
- You have mastered CS fundamentals and related technical skills:
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years in developer relations or solutions architecture in blockchain or developer-focused software companies.
- Ideally, experience with some of the key technologies we use across the blockchain, cryptography, and distributed systems.
- You find teaching and community engagement fulfilling:
- A strong track record of speaking, presenting, and teaching highly technical topics, virtually and/or in person.
- Experience participating in major crypto industry hackathons and conferences; even better if you have helped organize or lead any events or community programs.
You enjoy contributing in a startup environment:
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a small team environment and can wear multiple hats in different situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in asynchronous and synchronous communication, giving and receiving feedback, and working independently or with a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to remain organized with multiple simultaneous projects.
- You recognize that the culture and community of crypto may be different from other software industries and are willing to adapt your practices and knowledge to this demographic.
